This King of Fighter 2002 Unlimited Match tier list is a fascinating look at an SNK classic that still actively played today

SNK fans are among the most dedicated in the fighting game community in continuing to support their favorite older titles, especially now that most of them have been updated to include rollback netcode on modern hardware.
South Korean player CupRamon recently put together a tier list for The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match ranking the 60+ character roster based on the newest showings of top players in the Asia region.
There's only three characters in total who claim the rank of S+ tier being K', his clone Nameless and Kula Diamond (sporting her alternate look).
Speaking of clones, Kyo has four different playable varaints in the game with his regular version and the evil Kusanagi being up in S tier while Kyo-1 and Kyo-2 down quite a bit lower in B+.
Interestingly, this tier list isn't just for rankings but also includes numbers for ratio tournaments, special competitions where characters are assigned a number for a team game where the total selections cannot excede a certain amount.
CupRamon thinks this list may work best with a ratio limit of 20, so choosing a fighter like K' at 10 would take up half of the power for the whole team.
Since there's no ranking number below five, you'd be stuck picking two B-tier characters to round out your entrants.
