Walmart Battery Ever Start Maxx 49
I bought a car battery at Walmart for my 2006 997 C2.
I had to replace the OEM Moll battery.
The model I bought was the Ever Start Maxx 49 (according to the battery computer and handbook at Walmart).
930 cranking amps / 850 cold cranking amps.
The new battery works great, and it fits well in the tray.
The price was $77.
I noticed that a few other users/members bought car batteries at Walmart, but the model they purchased was the Maxx 94R.
Did I buy the correct battery?
Thank you in advance.

Sorry don't know. I replaced my OEM battery today with a Die Hard Gold R94. 31/2 year warranty on the thing. $139. It has the same CCA at 850

I just bought one for my 996 for $77 as well with the 3yr replacement warranty. The self serve computer indicated the battery you chose and also the maxx 48. I chose the 48 becuase it was smaller than the 49 and it was manufactured last month vs the 49 made last year.

battery listing is wrong at most aftermarket suppliers. the lenght of the 49 battery will be about 1.5 inches too long. Width and height are the same. It will fit in the tray, but the bolt clamp will not work unless you modify it (hole is there, but no threads for the bolt. This battery will work, you just need to modify the tray to hold it down
