The president-elect and his family aren't the only residents of Trump Tower who benefit from the protection of the U.S. Secret Service — and now, it appears one real estate company is looking to cash in on the building's surprising new "amenity."

According to Politico, just days after Donald Trump won the 2016 presidential election, luxury real estate company Douglas Elliman chose to promote one of its listings at Trump Tower with an email titled, "Fifth Avenue Buyers Interested in Secret Service Protection?" The email went on to refer to the Secret Service as a "new amenity" at the building and also called the property "the best value in the most secure building in Manhattan."

Politico reports that the listing was for a $2.1 million, 1,052-square-foot condo on the 31st floor of Trump Tower. According to an online listing, the property is represented by Ariel Sassoon and Devin Hugh Leahy, and is one of 13 for sale via Douglas Elliman at 721 Fifth Avenue.

Despite Trump serving as the high rise's developer when it was built in 1983, New York Daily News reports that most of the 263 units in Trump Tower are now individually owned. However, Trump Organization reportedly still receives a processing and service fee for all sales and rentals in the building — which might prove to be a conflict of interest if the president-elect does not put his businesses in a blind trust when he enters office in January.
