Carlos Alberto de Paiva Pellicer received his B.S. (1984) in Agricultural Engineering from UNESP (Universidade Estadual Paulista Julio de Mesquita Filho) Jaboticabal (SP); .postgraduate in Agrochemicals at Federal University of Viçosa (MG); with specialization in Marketing at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV, SP).

From 1995 to 2005, Carlos was a guest professor of Marketing Strategy at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) in São Paulo.
He worked in several companies in the market in different positions throughout his career: Stauffer, DuPont, Citibank, FMC, Monsanto,
Found DVA Brasil a joint Venture with DVA GMBH in Brazil in 2004.
He is currently the Global Head- Strategy, Innovation, & NPD of UPL
