Product details
Here is a quite interesting World Cup poster featuring England and West Germany in the second group stage of the final.
The match was played on Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Madrid the 29th June 1982 in front of 75.000 fans. The match ended 0-0 which meant that only West Germany made it through to the next round.
The poster was made by the Spanish artist Donat Sauri who is also quite famous for his advertisements and bullfighting posters. You can actually see the bullfighting style in the lines of this poster. You can find Donat Sauri creations being sold at auctions houses all over the world.
This is a great historical poster which is an absolutely must-have for anyone who appreciates both football and vintage posters.
