The Scent of Anna Dello Russo by Anna Dello Russo is a Amber Vanilla fragrance for women. The Scent of Anna Dello Russo was launched in 2010. The nose behind this fragrance is Adlen Moumene.

Anna Dello Russo, the editor of Japanese Vogue and a huge global fashion icon, announces the launch of her own perfume called The Scent of Anna Dello Russo . The perfume is expected around Christmas 2010. Anna, as the insider of fashion industry and a “fashion maniac” "as Helmut Newton once described her, believes that her time has come to try out in the world of perfumes.

The fragrance contains notes of vanilla and almond, packed in a luxurious bottle shaped like a golden high heel shoe, reminiscent of the Cinderella fairytale. The fragrance is reminiscent of fresh winter cookies with notes of vanilla and almonds, evoking tastes and smells that filled Anna’s childhood like grandma's Christmas biscuits. The composition was created by the perfumers of Firmenich.

The whole concept of this creation revolves around holyday mood and festive atmosphere. Cinderella inspired golden stiletto shaped bottle invites you to the glittering New Year's Ball. The bottle, signed by Giuliano Federico, is multi – practical; it is designed like a small clutch purse that can serve as an ornament for a Christmas tree.

This fragrance is a gorgeous confection of almonds, vanilla, and musk. It’s sweet, soft, cozy, comfortable and very well blended.
The composition is straightforward and linear, but that’s a complement in this case. I love it every single minute I smell this delightful gourmand. Longevity is good (all day) and sillage is relatively quiet. It’s the best almond centric fragrance I’ve smelled.
The delicate blown glass shoe bottle was broken when it was delivered, but fortunately the fragrance was housed in a simple and thankfully sturdier glass vial that remained completely intact.
Sadly, it appears to be discontinued.

Anyone,
Where can this be found, new or even used.

Anna Dello Russo's favorite scent was Vanille Amande by Comptoir Sud Pacifique, before it got discontinued.. This is a close dupe.

Based on the notes alone, it seems that this fragrance will be typical. But whether I actually like the fragrance or not, I am sure that I will be purchasing this fragrance because I absolutly LOVE the bottle. I've got to have it!!
