Shatrughan Prasad Sinha is a legendary actor and a Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from the Asansol constituency on behalf of All India Trinamool Congress (TMC). He is married to the love of his life, Poonam Sinha and together, the couple is blessed with three kids, Kush Sinha, Luv Sinha and Sonakshi Sinha. Following their father's footsteps, while Sonakshi has already shown her acting skills in Bollywood films, Luv is making a firm footing in the industry. However, in a recent interview, Luv mentioned getting no help from his daddy, Shatrugan and sister, Sonakshi.
In an interview, Luv Sinha mentioned that he went through severe auditioning before he was finally cast in a film. Thus, things were never easy for him initially, and he used to get less work in comparison to his daddy, Shatrugan and sister, Sonakshi. Further, the actor added that it seems quite easy from the outside how a celebrity's kid is looked at. However, Luv added:
“There have been times when I landed somewhere for an audition but got the feeling that something else is going on here. Like, maybe I do not fit the role, but I have been also called for the audition…. just for the sake of it. Aise hi bulaya gaya hai, 'aa jaiye kar dijiye (for the audition) par uske baad dekha jaega'."

Further, in the same conversation, Luv Sinha claimed that neither Shatrughan nor Sonakshi ever requested or asked anyone to cast Luv in any of their films. He also mentioned that his sister, Sonakshi Sinha did not have to really struggle and became a star overnight after her first film. Luv added:
"So, that is an advantage one has having been born in the industry. You understand how things do not always work on merit alone. Everyone around knows that, and there is no point getting frustrated or becoming an alcoholic or something like that over this.”

Son of Shatrughan Sinha and elder brother of Sonakshi Sinha, Luv Sinha appeared in the lead role in the Hindi film, Sadiyaan in 2010. Afterwards, he also starred in J. P. Dutta's 2018 released film, Paltan. Now, he is all set to show his acting talents once again in his upcoming film, Gadar 2, alongside Sunny Deol, Utkarsh Gupta and Ameesha Patel, which will be released in the theatres on August 11, 2023. The film is a sequel to the popular 2001 film, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Not only that, Luv also contested in the 2020 Bihar Legislative Assembly election from INC in Bankipur Constituency against Nitin Nabin from BJP and lost by 39,036 votes.
