An Ebay Story

During Comic Salong Erlangen I took part in the workshop lead by Kathrin Klingner and Annina Brell (organised by artzicomics). For the workshop we should tell an strange experience with Ebay-Kleinanzeige, as a comic of course.

Since I only had some with Ebay, I just drew my Ebay story. On that day I drew a version (in german) within maybe 30 min. It was very rough and very hard to follow I think. But I really liked the story, so today I redrew it, so that the comic could work clearer and better (I put the rough version at the end of this post, if you want to compare^^).

Thanks a lot to the people I mentioned above. It was such a great experience in Erlangen with you! <3 <3 <3 After working on animation film for years, it relaxed me a lot to just draw pictures in a short time without thinking a lot of logic and concept.

After this I have to dive back into my animation world again. Bye bye the comic-artist-me (for a while)!

I’m still making my graduation film. Hope to finish it soon :P

Tears of a Mad Woman - english version

We have invited 20 authors to write new and original comics and illustrated stories in German, English, French and Indigenous languages on a term that evokes very different associations and emotions in the two countries: RECONCILIATION.” - quoted from the Website of Goethe-Institute Canada

I had the honor to be one of these artist and contribute a story about reconciliation. Have look at the great work and interviews of other artists on the website of Goethe-Institut (Link). And since my story became too long (8 pages)^^ you can only read the full version here.

I’d like to thank Goethe-Institute Montréal and Goethe-Institut Toronto for organizing this programme, my friend Michael Bohnenstingl for editing my German and also translating them into English. Thank David Maas as English proof reader, who jumped in in the last minute. Even though both of them were very busy, they still helped me a lot with the text very kindly. Thank you both a lot!
