We had so much fun here! We recommend making a reservation around 4 or 5 instead of right when the club opens. It was a long day and we wished we arrived later so we could stay longer.

You can also hire a private water taxi to have a bit more control over when you arrive and leave. Their water taxi is about 700 pesos per person and only comes and goes once a day.

These are definitely more expensive prices than we saw in the rest of Puerto Vallarta but it was worth it for the experience.
Every group has a private table and it's very much tulum vibes with a DJ and dance area as well the beach was great and the water was clear!

Highly suggest any of the ceviches as well as the cucumber cocktails! Also would suggest doing bottle service to save a bit of money as the minimum will run out quickly!

I've attended Majahuitas during the pandemic and had an amazing experience and was looking forward to have the same experience this time around but was greatly disappointed. We attended the beach club this past July and it was a complete mess. The do not know how to cut people off alcohol and the service to get anything takes forever. It was not a language barrier just simply workers not knowing how to properly take the order right. The music is below par. I enjoy listening to EDM and house music but these DJs did not know how to get people dancing. It sounded so repetitive. I booked through Vallarta Adventures and been trying to get in contact to get a refund or even speak to right customer service representative.
The boat ride back at the end of the night is the absolute worst nightmare you can imagine. Vallarta Adventures makes sure you are properly safe and equipped with a life vest and safety procedures on every other adventure or excursion that involves boat transportation, but that is completely thrown out the window with the Beach Day Club. The boat ride back is filled with drunk inappropriate people. It was overcrowded and we were in the middle of a rainstorm with choppy water and lightning. You would think the captain or crew would have decided to take safety precautions as a top priority. That was not the case and instead blasted music and kept serving alcohol to individuals who have already had too much to drink. We tried to seclude ourselves from everyone but we were still getting drinks spilled on us and had people fall because of the boat rocking back and forth. People were throwing chairs and other objects off the boat without no consequences nor any security measures to stop it. It was just out of control. As a tourist I felt extremely unsafe and did not want to take matters into my own hands. If you are freshly 21 or early 20's and single then this might be worth going. But to someone in a relationship or a group of people who were expecting to have a great time without dealing with drunk adolescents and teens I do not recommend. I doubt they will take ownership on this issue or even try to resolve my situation.

Nice atmosphere and music but they will strand you in the middle of jungle, and not do a thing to help you, they won't tell you where the boat it will be or how to get out of there, and if you're from playa Nayarit they will dump you in Puerto Vallarta and let you figure it out on your own, this company should be out of business

Beautiful beach, wild, natural, with nothing around! Great place to get away! We stopped here while taking a small cruise boat in the area for a snorkeling session!

The area is beautiful, peaceful, serene. The water is deep, you get to see a wonderful array of fishes if you do snorkeling here! I enjoyed a lot, didn't want to leave this spot! It's nice, relaxing, tropical, laid back. Exactly what you need if you visit the area!

I've never experienced such a disappointing hospitality experience while traveling. Never visit this beach club. Cute in Instagram pics, but horror in customer service. For easier reading, I've listed the issues below.

      1. Starting with the most important. You are NOT allowed to leave the beach until ALL tables have paid. To clarify, the 10+ tables of strangers that are also there with you? You're not allowed to leave until everyone closes out their bills
      - This is an issue if you're expecting to get back to PV in time. Mahajuitas will prioritize getting additional $ from other groups and does not value the time you have to get back to PV
      - This was not communicated to our group and told to us after nearly 2 hours of missing our transport boat

      2. If you're looking to pay the bill seamlessly, that is not the case here. The management team let us know that their "computers went down" meaning, they're not able to calculate your bill totals and are manually adding your bill with different slips of papers from the service staff. My group spoke to some staff members and this contact let us know that this issue allegedly happens pretty frequently.

      3. Arrival time is after 14:00 each day since the pick-up time from PV is midday. If you're looking to get sun or party on the beach, you will barely get any time in the sun. The beach does not get a lot of sun altogether.

      4. Service staff got food orders wrong

      5. If you're expecting a bi-lingual staff like in the main parts of PV. This is not the case at Mahajuitas. I would recommend you're either semi-to-advanced with your Spanish speaking skills

      6. If you're looking for an adult get-a-way experience, this is not the place. There were two large groups of kids

      7. If you're motion sick from boats, the journey is a rough experience

      8. Not sanitary. Service staff and guests did not clean up after multiple dogs went #2 on the beach.

Overall, this negative review boils down to being over 2 hours late on returning back to PV and lack of communication from their staff. Really disappointing experience. Save your money and go to a different beach club

Nice beach club, but do NOT leave any important/expensive things unattended. Most of the day went great but at the end of the night me and my girlfriend left a pair of YSL and Oakley sunglasses (combined value of about $700 USD) unattended at our reserved table only to come back to it 15 minutes later to find out our sunglasses and her pair of shirts had been stolen. We had an empty tequila bottle and empty plates of food there that had been picked up as well during that 15 min absence so it seemed like which ever worker cleaned the table also took our belongings. Thank God we kept my wallet and her purse on us during that time because I'm sure they would've took those too. So all in all sure the day club was fun, but do not trust the workers to "watch" over your belongings because anything nice WILL be stolen and the workers will be absolutely no help in finding them.

We visited Majahuitas beach and club on 3/4/23 booking a tour through Vallarta adventures (music festival). We had just completed the Alma show tour through Vallarta adventures the prior evening, we couldn't have been more impressed with the production, food, ambiance, and great service provided by Vallarta adventures. Unfortunately, the experience at Majahuitas beach club was not nearly so great.

Vallarta Adventures has only recently purchased the Majahuitas beach club, and it seems there are still some growing pains between likely the EDM promotion company and Vallarta Adventures. I suspect if leadership from Vallarta Adventures takes more control of some finer aspects of this tour, it will improve.

Some of the experience was great. The beach setting and infrastructure for seating options, fire pits, laser light shows, bathrooms, stereo system and music all were amazing. Also, we purchased the $199 (before discount) open bar and food option, ultimately, we had an open bar on the boat ride and during our entire time at the beach club. The food was ordered ala cart (limited menu but enough options), this too ended up being included. When it was time to go, our bill was $0, so truly an all-inclusive experience.

      There were some major negatives.
      1. Boat ended up leaving almost an hour later than promised -- Our email from Vallarta adventures told us to show up at 12:30, we did, very few people were there. We ended up leaving closer to 1:45, many people showed up between 1 and 1:30, this was the first hint of a lack of coordination between the EDM promoter (he wore a Majahuitas black t-shirt, not a Vallarta Adventures shirt, like all the Vallarta Adventures staff) and Vallarta Adventures.
      2. Table service was slow - We likely got unlucky here, it seemed our waitress was training (and struggling). All transactions had to start from the waiter, you couldn't go to the bar and order a drink, the all-inclusive clients were a minority, about 20 vs. 200 total people. You have to "pay your bill" before you leave, which is obvious when you are incurring charges. It was strange to have to wait five more minutes to pay our $0 bill, but it was a needed step, to leave the beach, you must prove to the boat staff that you have paid your bill.
      3. Boat was supposed to leave at 10:30 pm, EDM promoter ultimately planned to have the music play longer, likely for most, the boat didn't leave until 12:30 am. While this was likely a major "plus" for many of the young EDM crowd, most of us who had booked through Vallarta Adventures desired to stay on schedule. Fortunately, the rumors about staying longer buzzed enough that we were able to communicate with the EDM promoter and he ultimately got a small Vallarta Adventures boat to take about 10 of us to the dock where the Alma show departs and we took the large Alma shows catamaran back to Puerto Magico (PV) with the 5:30 tour group. This ended up being a major "win" for us as this is a fun ride home with dancing and a show produced by the Vallarta Adventures crew.
      4. Lack of coordination and communication - Had the rumors not started, we would have been stuck at the beach until 12:30 am or later. Simple communication could have prevented this frustration. If the EDM promoter had proactively communicated that there will be an option for the Vallarta Adventures guest to take a smaller boat to the Alma dock at 9 pm, none of us would have been upset. One couple hired a private boat to exit when they first heard the later departure rumor, if they new the other option existed, they would almost certainly have waited.
      5. Crowd was young - This wasn't too unexpected, but since many of this young crowd seemed more interested in taking selfies and spending time in front of the mirrors to "freshen up their appearance," it took away from what we like about EDM, dancing to the music with others who also like dancing to the music.
      6. Food was so-so - We only ordered guacamole and tacos (one order of shrimp, one order of steak); This was easily the least tasty meal we had during our 6 day stay in PV but it was edible. The food at the Alma show was very good, one of the best meals we had during our stay.

In the end, I think the EDM promoter and Vallarta Adventures can coexist and do better with some simple communication and logistic changes. But until you see hints that these logistic changes have happened, you might want to skip booking this trip.

This place is amazing! Arrived by boat through the Vallarta Adventures Marietas Eco Discovery Excursion. When you arrive you may have all the beer you want, (Dark or light your choice) you may play beach games such as beach volleyball, beach pin pon, banana rides, and get on donut floats. Also you want to just lay down and relax. This beach got beach beds, beach hammocks, beach chairs. All the drinks are included such as agua de tamarindo, and limeade. Beautiful beach. The sand is a bit rocky but everything is beautiful.

This beach is absolutely beautiful! We came here with Vallarata Tours and it was literally the best day of the entire cruise! This place was perfect. They only had beer but that was okay with us. The bathrooms were clean and they had a tree swing to swing on. Seriously amazing excursion! And they took these photos
