Step out of your comfort zone and immerse yourself in one of the best and most unique experience that CDMX has to offer.

In this unique and comprehensive tour, we will dive into the history, culture, and cuisine of the “Barrio Bravo,” Tepito.

Description

We will pick you up at our meeting point “Letras de Tepito” which is easily and safely accessible via Uber, taxi, metro, metrobus, or by walking,

From there, we will walk together to one of the main streets of the neighborhood and enter Tepito. First, we will guide you through the diverse stalls of one of the largest and most labyrinthine ambulant street market in Latin America with more than 15.000 market stalls. Then, we will visit the famous and beautiful “Maracana” sports center and the main church, “San Francisco de Asis,” located in the heart of Tepito.

Continuing our journey, we will take you through streets that only we, the Tepiteños, can navigate, giving you an exclusive insight into the different residential areas.

Finally, we will visit one of the most famous altars in Mexico, the altar of “La Santa Muerte.” To conclude the trip on a refreshing note, we can enjoy an ice-cold and revitalizing Michelada or indulge in some delicious food.

Don´t worry how to leave Tepito again. We will wait with you for your Uber or bring you back to the Starting Point.

You should definitely bring some cash. We recommend 250-2500 Mexican pesos per Person in case you want to buy food, drinks or clothes because most market stalls don´t accept Credit Cards & there are no ATM´s in Tepito.

Please dress in casual clothes that don´t attract a lot of attention. Please don´t come with expensive jewelry or watches that are shining in everybodies eyes. Moreover we recommend a cap or hat against the sun.

Yes, no problem.

Tepito is pet friendly & you can come with your dog. We recommend to have your dog on the leash.
