Description
Español: El edificio en el que se encuentra actualmente el Cosmovitral Jardín Botánico de Toluca, originalmente albergó al Mercado 16 de Septiembre de la ciudad de Toluca. Su construcción inició el 22 de febrero de 1909, con la finalidad de conmemorar el centenario de la Independencia de México. Fue el ingeniero Manuel Arratia, originario de Zumpango, Estado de México, realizó el diseño con un estilo art nouveau y la Fundidora y Aceros de Monterrey se hizo cargo del armazón metálico.
