Ever since Bosnian-born Texas steel company owner Semir Osmanagic began archaeological excavations in the area of Visoko in the 2000s, the world has been awash with attention to the so-called Bosnian pyramids, including the largest "Pyramid of the Sun". According to the American businessman, the Bosnian pyramids are "the most monumental complex ever erected on Earth's surface", and Visocica hill is considered the oldest and highest pyramid in the world created by civilization. Even though geologists harshly criticized Semir Osmanagic's research, calling the pyramids only natural formations, these sites quickly became popular tourist attractions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Indeed, the shape of the 213-meter-high hill resembles a pyramid, but all the artificial squares and tunnels mentioned by Osmanagic's archaeologists have never been discovered. However, esotericists claim that the pyramids were built more than 12 thousand years ago by a civilization unknown to mankind and still continue to generate incredibly powerful vibrations. They call the Bosnian pyramids a "place of power". Unfortunately, due to the numerous mines left in the area after the war, excavations continue very slowly. But if Osmanagic's research is correct, it will affect the entire Ancient history and the birth of human civilization.
In the meantime, the Bosnian pyramids are daily visited by more than 10 thousand tourists from all over the world. They come to witness the new wonder of the world, stay at the closest hotel to the pyramids called the "Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun", taste a triangular pizza and, of course, buy souvenirs depicting the infamous pyramids. Besides, tourists can climb the top of the hill and visit the ancient castle of Visoko, admire the picturesque landscapes of the city and its surroundings, or go down to Visoko and look in the unique Sherefudin's White Mosque, winner of the prestigious Aga Khan Award for Architecture.
