vermeidet.Circuit breaker, in particular miniature circuit breaker, with one off
a knee joint drive mechanism for the switching element in the case of automatic switches,
in particular miniature circuit breakers, attempts are usually made to reduce the switch-off time
to make the short-circuit shutdown as small as possible. A little switch-off time
in particular by reducing the delay in withdrawal, i.e. the time from the beginning
of the switch-off command until the contacts are lifted leads to the current limitation of the
Short-circuit current. The advantages of current limitation do not only come from those to be protected
System, but also to the switchgear itself. The switching work of the device
becomes smaller at a certain short-circuit current or, in other words,
the switching line of the device is increased with constant switching work. By
the current limitation will also reduce the selectivity of the circuit breaker to the upstream
Protective organs improved. The shortening of the switch-off time can be achieved by
that one increases the acceleration of the switching mechanism or that of the moving ones
Parts of the mechanism shortened the path traversed or that delay times,
- originate from movements that are not directly related to the switch-off movement,
avoids.
There are switches, namely circuit breakers known in which
the drive mechanism for the switching element consists of a two-part knee joint
consists, of which one link on a cooperating with the switching element
Shift lever and the other link on a cooperating with a release pawl
Ratchet lever is hinged. These switches are supported during the switched-on state
the knee of the knee joint in the depressed position against a firm stop
away. Not only does the thermal release act on the release latch, but also
the armature of the magnetic trigger. The magnet armature is under the action of a
pre-tensioned return spring. The response current is set by the spring preload.
After a certain anchor advance, the anchor hits the pawl. The latch will
also accelerates and gives after it has covered the latching path,
the switching mechanism free, the switching mechanism is through after unlatching
the switch-off spring accelerates and thereby directs the actual switch-off process
a. This arrangement has the following disadvantages: There must be two masses one after the other,
the anchor and the pawl, are accelerated from zero without the actual
Switching process is already prepared cheaply. In addition, the one that depends on the current
Force of the magnet armature, which can be greater than the force of the release spring,
in the described arrangement cannot be used to determine the actual
To accelerate the switch-off process. The actual shutdown is just done by
the opening spring determines.
Furthermore, automatic switches are known whose two-part knee joint pushing through beyond the dead center is coupled to the switching lever on one member and the hand lever on the other member. The armature of the magnetic release is under the action of a return spring. He can not support the knee joint because the return spring does not provide any counterforce. So that the knee joint remains in the depressed position when the switch is switched on, a stop is attached to the knee joint in the known switches. If the armature trips, it has to overcome an ever increasing force of the return spring, which causes a certain braking of the armature. This braking contributes to increasing the switch-off time of the switch.
The invention is based on the object of shortening the switch-off time in a circuit breaker, in particular a circuit breaker, the drive mechanism of which for the switching element has a two-part knee joint that can be pushed through beyond the dead center position. The knee joint of the automatic switch is articulated with one link on a switching lever that interacts with the switching element and with its other link on a ratchet lever that interacts with a release pawl. The object is achieved in that, according to the invention, the knee joint during the switched-on state of the switch is supported with the knee in the depressed position on an armature of a magnetic release and is pressed against the armature by a spring which is preferably used for disconnection and is pressed on the knee effective force - decreases as the armature moves in the tripping direction.
Einzelteile wiedergegeben. Die Fig. 1 bis 3 geben den Selbstschalter
in verschiedenen Schaltzuständen wieder. An exemplary embodiment is shown in the drawing. Only the individual parts necessary for explaining the invention are reproduced from the circuit breaker. FIGS. 1 to 3 show the automatic switch in different switching states.
zusammenwirkt. Der Schalthebel 12 ist um die Achse 14 drehbar. Der magnetische Auslöser
hat einen Anker 15. The circuit breaker according to the invention has the two stationary contact parts 1 and 2 with which the movable switching element 3 interacts. The switching element 3 is seated on a control rod 4. The drive mechanism for the switching member consists of a two-membered knee joint 5, 6. At engages the knee of the knee joint, the one member 5 6 in a known manner with a pin 7 in an oblong hole 8 of the other member, the Link 5 is articulated on a ratchet lever 9 which is rotatable about axis 10. The pawl lever 9 cooperates with the release pawl 11 , which is under the action of a not shown thennischen release. The member 6 of the knee joint is hinged to the switching lever 12, which is under the action of the opening spring 13 and interacts with the switching rod 4. The shift lever 12 can be rotated about the axis 14. The magnetic release has an armature 15.
DerSelbstschalterhatfolgendeWirkungsweise: Fig. 1
The function of the self- switch is as follows: Fig. 1 shows the switch in the switched-on state. The stationary contact parts 1, 2 are bridged by the movable switching element 3. According to the invention, the knee joint 5, 6 with the knee in the depressed position on the magnet armature 15 finds its abutment during the switched-on state and is pressed against the armature 15 by the opening spring 13 , whose force acting on the knee decreases when the armature moves in the release direction. The magnet armature 15 is in contact with a stationary part 16 of the circuit breaker. If a large overcurrent occurs, the magnetic release responds. The magnet armature 15 lifts - as FIG. 2 shows - from the stationary base 16 and thereby moves the knee joint into the dead center position and beyond. As soon as the dead center position is exceeded, the knee joint 5, 6 - as FIG. 3 shows - bends. The knee joint is buckled under the action of the opening spring 13. At the same time, however, it is pushed by the armature 15 at least during part of the buckling movement. As soon as the knee joint buckles, the movable switching element 3 lifts from the stationary contact parts 1, 2. In order to switch the switch on again, an elevator device acts on the ratchet lever 9.
On the self-switch according to the invention, the knee joint is not supported by the knee as before on a stationary stop or a stop attached to the knee joint. Instead of such a stop, the magnet armature 15 has taken place directly. This arrangement has the following advantage. A force originating from the opening spring 13 acts on the armature 15. This force replaces the force of the return spring that is otherwise usual for the armature and can be changed by adjusting the armature (in the drawing in the vertical direction). The magnetic release of the armature can be adjusted by changing the armature position. There is no backlash between the anchor and the knee of the knee joint, so that the anchor has a defined rest position. Even the exclusion of backlash contributes to a reduction in the tripping time. In the depressed position, the knee joint is secured by the opening spring, the force of which on the knee decreases when the armature moves in the tripping direction. The opening spring presses the knee joint against the armature. If there were to be a stop on the knee joint to secure the pushed-through position, a backlash would have to be provided for manufacturing reasons. Since the force of the opening spring acting on the knee decreases when the armature moves in the tripping direction, the armature can accelerate extraordinarily when tripping, whereby the knee joint is pushed back above the dead center position particularly quickly. This also significantly reduces the switch-off time of the self-switch. In addition, the drive mechanism is accelerated by the armature force, which is dependent on the current, in the direction of the switch-off movement. This further contributes to a reduction in the turn-off of the switch Beie The circuit breaker according to the invention is not so formed that the hinged on the shift lever 12 member comes 6 of the knee joint after or upon exceeding the dead center position on the shift lever to the plant and from there to a rigid unit with this forms. This takes place in that the member 6 finds a stop on a bent tab 17 of the shift lever 12. With such a design, the armature force, which practically only occurs as a shock, is transferred to the switching movement via a single rigid component. The anchor force is used particularly favorably.
