The role: Program Manager, Tech Advisor Program - Mountain View

You are focused on cultivating outstanding candidates for Google's long-term hiring needs, and you are the glue that ties together a cross-functional and international group of staffing teams. As a program manager for the Tech Advisor program, your core responsibility is to optimize a service that provides hundreds of hours of critical support for individual Tech employees. You will understand the needs of the Tech organization, and help plan for further impact and growth of the program. You will manage utilization, metrics and reporting on the program. You will build strong relationships with all the Advisors so you can be a successful advocate and resolve issues quickly. This is a great opportunity to learn from a highly engaged group of key leaders in the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Help balance advisor availability with audience demand and adjust outreach & marketing tactics accordingly, based on the needs of the organization.
  • Build relationships with each Advisor to understand their individual advising specialities and developmental goals; check in on frequent basis to share quality metrics, address any concerns and ensure high engagement in the program.
  • Coordinate email pushes and program-specific partnerships. Promote local geographic awareness, manage Advisor website, and create relevant marketing and recognition swag.
  • Help organize regular Advisor summits and other gatherings, prepare materials and follow-up resources as needed; organize recognition opportunities for Advisors for their service.
  • Design and administer multiple surveys to track satisfaction and impact metrics, create dashboard and presentation materials to share aggregate data and progress, and track and analyze collective themes against other analytics.

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 6 years relevant work experience).
  • Proven background in program/project management and problem solving.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects with strong project management capability and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, and to take a "hands-on" approach when and where needed.
  • Deep comfort with data analysis/problem solving. Affinity to technology, including advanced knowledge of sites, calendar, docs applications
  • High level of self-initiative, creativity, perseverance, and flexibility. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal - both 1:1 and in large team meetings)
  • Strong mindset for innovation and continuous improvement and a strong track record for great partnerships including ability to flex and adapt as needed.
